Your portal is the face to your community. You can have one or many Innovation Portals - for your Intranet, Extranet, and web-facing sites. Each can have the branding and feel to meet your needs. They are flexible so you can put the information and features at the fingertips of users - with just a drag and drop.
Chances are you'll want to capture ideas on multiple business areas and objectives. Set up standing Idea Communities and event-driven Campaigns, Challenges, and Contests. Our communities come with a rich set of collaborative features that can be custom tailored to meet each specific scenario. Users can see all of the activity across communities in their Cim Activity Stream, and via Top 10 Listings and Dashboards.
Post ideas to the Communities and make them as detailed as you'd like. Make your objectives, goals, and important points visible so other community members can quickly sum up what makes your idea special. Your post idea forms can be easily customized per community to capture everything you need for downstream activity.
Now that the ideas are posted, let the community come in and rate, comment, and enhance those ideas. Ideas are ranked using our Star Power feature. Add your comments to the idea or comment on other comments. Turn on Peer Reviews that let you ask specific questions that are scored to support your idea assessment.
Users have access to "Top 10" Listings such as Most Recent and Highest Rated ideas. One click to engage and collaborate. Drop them in your portal or snap them into any sites across SharePoint, such as the Department Portal shown here to provide maximum visibility.
Increase engagement by making it easier and more convenient for users using the Cim Activity Stream. It can be snapped into any SharePoint site. From there, users can contribute, collaborate, see their activity, and see the activity by others on their contributions and on communities and articles they have watched. Make innovation collaboration part of the work people do every day by putting it where they normally "go" to work.
Cim integrates with the social networking capabilities of SharePoint 2010. Users can see the profiles of other collaborators, pop into their My Sites to connect directly, and use Like Its, Notes, and Tags to tie into the enterprise social network.

The Management Activity display gives your team of reviewers a way to conduct private, collaborative reviews. It gives reviewers a speedy way to go through items and vote, comment, and perform formal reviews with structured questions that are scored. It can also be distributed to other SharePoint sites so that reviewers can do their work from the comfort of wherever they normally work.
