CorasWorks Announces Expanded Application Product Line for 2007 Microsoft Office System
Reston, VA – November 30, 2006 –
CorasWorks Corporation, the leading worldwide provider of workplace application software on the Microsoft
SharePoint collaboration platform, today announced its expanded application product line on the 2007
Microsoft® Office system, helping customers to quickly, easily and cost-effectively accelerate the business
value that they receive from the new SharePoint v3 (MOSS 2007) platform.
“CorasWorks has leveraged our role as an Office 2007 Solution Launch Partner to develop our next generation
Workplace Suite on SharePoint v3 (MOSS 2007), to create add-on products to help customers seamlessly migrate
to the new version of SharePoint, and to build our new line of packaged enterprise applications,” said William
Rogers, CEO of CorasWorks. Since late summer, CorasWorks has made available a free online showroom showcasing
its flagship Workplace Suite application software under development on the new platform. CorasWorks’ Showroom
enables organizations to see for themselves how CorasWorks embraces, exposes and extends the native
capabilities of the new platform to provide organizations with a more powerful, integrated, enterprise-wide
application suite. In addition to the public showroom, CorasWorks has been managing an extensive client beta
program for many of its enterprise customers. These select CorasWorks customers have been able to experience
for themselves the business value that the Workplace Suite offers on the SharePoint v3 environment.
In addition to offering early access to applications on the SharePoint v3 platform, CorasWorks has developed
a Design Migrator add-on. The Design Migrator, included as part of the Workplace Suite, will eliminate the
numerous hours of work many organizations face trying to manually migrate application or site designs from
the v2 platform to the new v3 platform.
Today, CorasWorks also announced the release of CorasWorks rPrograms™. CorasWorks rPrograms is the
first in a new line of packaged enterprise applications by CorasWorks called rApplications, designed
for organizations that wish to add immediate business value onto their SharePoint environment,. CorasWorks
rPrograms offers organizations a fully supported and robust packaged application for enterprise-wide
program management on the Microsoft SharePoint collaboration platform, with a much lower total cost of
ownership than siloed point solutions or custom developed applications.
