CorasWorks® Delivers 2nd Release for Microsoft Office SharePoint® System (MOSS 2007)
The new Fall 2007 release represents the 11th edition of the CorasWorks Workplace Suite and the second for MOSS 2007. In this release, CorasWorks builds upon the MOSS 2007 platform and provides organizations with an even richer set of features and capabilities to build solutions faster, at a lower cost, and that are more maintainable over time.
The Fall 2007 release offers several enhancements to the Workplace Suite’s existing feature set and several new features. Previously only available in a 32–bit version, the Fall 2007 edition of the Workplace Suite also offers a 64–bit version that is compatible with Microsoft’s new SharePoint 64–bit architecture.
Additional new features and enhancements include:- Displays on the Fly
The Workplace Suite’s Roll–Up Connections and Display functionality allows users to aggregate and present data from across multiple lists or libraries, multiple sites, site collections and virtual servers. This new feature allows users to easily select, modify, and rearrange the columns included in a Display, and modify the sorting, filtering, grouping, and searching capabilities of the display. In addition, this feature can be used to edit or even create existing displays for use throughout your environment. - Simplifying and Streamlining Business Processes
CorasWorks’ Actions, which simplify many standard tasks performed by users, has always been a favorite CorasWorks feature. Through the new Chained Actions feature, users can now simplify and streamline their business processes by completing multiple step processes with just one click. - Making Data Entry and Modifying a Snap
CorasWorks’ new Action Data Entry Form allows users to quickly and easily enter or modify information. This simple pop–up form can be located anywhere on the page and can be formatted to match the look and feel of an organization’s specific solution. - Business Ready Printing
Quickly and easily print Microsoft Word® and/or Excel® documents stored in SharePoint document libraries. Getting hard copies ready for an upcoming meeting is quick and easy. CorasWorks calendar displays can easily be printed, allowing users to aggregate data from multiple calendars, and easily print that aggregated data. - Several Additional Pre-Built Business Solutions
From Document Management and Publishing, to new Centralized Training and Strategic Planning, several new solutions have been added to the Workplace Suite Solution Set, each sure to enhance the productivity of any team.
